Cheetahs are a threatened species, with their populations declining across all of their natural habitats. On this route, visit the Cheetah Outreach rehabilitation sanctuary, where you can enter an enclosure - supervised by a ranger - and touch a cheetah with your own hands. This experience is truly once in a lifetime.

• Route Two •

A little further out of Cape Town, this route takes you into the Hottentots Holland Mountain Nature Reserve, where you'll go ziplining through valleys and over waterfalls. Eleven ziplines - including the longest in South Africa - make this experience an adrenaline-rich one.

• Route Three •

For a lower-energy adventure, this route goes to the Alpaca Loom, where you'll spend the afternoon petting and feeding the alpacas. They're farmed for their wool, which is woven on site. As part of this route, you'll receive a bucket of alpaca feed, so you can experience the animals' standoffish affection close up.
